A rare goal by Aaron Ramsey gave Arsenal renewed hope for the title, and Chelsea a huge boost ahead of their trip to Old Trafford next weekend. If Chelsea are able to win, they will pass United at the top on goal difference. Arsenal travel to Stoke, and a win there would leave them three behind the leaders if Chelsea could return Arsenal's favour. United's last two games are at Blackburn and home to Blackpool, while Chelsea finish by hosting Newcastle and a tough last day trip to Everton. Arsenal will play Villa at home and Fulham away.
Ramsey's goal in the 56th minute put pressure on United to seek an equalizer, but despite the injection of Berbatov and even Michael Owen, United were unable to create much in the way of chances, although Owen had possibly valid claims for a penalty just after coming on. However, Arsenal were able to hold on today, something that had proved a challenge in recent weeks, and now, even if United can defeat Chelsea next week, they won't be able to clinch the title.
